At BizzyCar, I served as the sole lambda team member from April 2021 to June 2025, building integrations with major automotive companies like Ford and GM, and taking full ownership of all major data processing and business logic that powered the platform.
Technical Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Architecture
- Designed and implemented a series of AWS Lambdas for asynchronous data processing
- Built and maintained Node.js servers for DMS (Dealership Management Systems) API integrations
- Architected PostgreSQL database schema for data persistence and cross-referencing
- Orchestrated complex workflows for subsequent process execution
Data Processing at Scale
- Processed and cross-referenced tens of millions of rows of recall data
- Implemented efficient data pipelines for real-time recall monitoring
- Built systems to handle continuous data synchronization from multiple automotive OEM sources
- Developed robust error handling and retry mechanisms for critical data operations
Integration Work
- Created and maintained API integrations with Ford, GM, and other automotive manufacturers
- Built connectors for various Dealership Management Systems
- Ensured data accuracy and consistency across multiple external systems
- Handled authentication, rate limiting, and API versioning challenges
Innovation & Impact
Recall-Miner Hackday Project During an internal hackathon, I developed the “recall-miner” system that automatically identified missed recall opportunities in dealership data. The project was so successful that it was deployed to production the same day and became a core revenue driver for the platform.
